Waited for at least 1 hour for the doctor to arrive.
Dr Matthew Lau, our dedicated doctor for our IVF treatment. Not much read up about him in the internet, so am not very sure how good he is.
After viewing our past records, he quickly draw out a plan for our treatment. He says i'll just need a shorter period of treatment which will take about 1 month for the whole process. Whereas compared to the reviews I saw in forums, alot of them is having a two month cycles. I was quite surprise! Another difference from many of them who have gone through the process, I'll just need 2 embryos to be inserted into my overy. Guess its because of my health status and my build, if 3 embryos were to fertilized sucessfully I cannot imagine how am I going to carry 3 babies in me...haha
I am prescribed with 4 months supply of Folic acid and dear with 4 months supply of antioxidants to be taken every morning.
My Treatment will start October, four months from now...hee so excited! I would like to relax myself and go for a holiday trip during september,before the treatment starts.
Well, I did have a little intention to switch gynae to Dr SF Loh as he is an expertist in this field. The only difference between the two doctors is their consultation fees. Dr Loh charges is definitely much higher. Dr Matthew Lau is an Associate Consultant (Reproductive Medicine, Andrology)and he is not even an expert in rhis field,that is why am still pondering to change a not.
Dear feels that it is not necessary to change as the only time the doctor is in use is during the embryos retrieve and embryos transfer. He feels that the process does not requires to perform any special skills. Well, somehow I do agree but its just on my mind that I may not benefit from the best and not sure if everything would be done perfectly? We come to a term if *touch wood* the 1st round fails, I will definitely request to change gynae.

Feng Shui
Engage the Yishun Feng Shui Master to our house. Feel that something needs to be done or change in our house to boost our luck. Been staying for 3 years, but not much of fortune or career luck for us.
She says our house is of water element. We cannot have any thing with blue color or rear any fishes in the house. Basically we need to paint most part of the house with coffee or brown color, lily white, purple and green color. These are the color for us. She did also ask to put alot of different painting in the house which could boost the husband luck. As for me, the kitchen I will have to put green cloth or mat on top or below anything to do with water.
For our baby room, one side of it have to be empty and that corner represents our fertility luck. I will have to decorate the place with lots of our BB photos or put toys to boost our luck.
Our living room, the Tv console and sofa got to switch place.
The mirror in the living room, got to change its height. Cannot reflect the dinning table, so we got to get constructor to amend the height or make it smaller to look nicer.
Alot of minor changes to be done, and all got to be done before the hungry ghost festival during end July or after that which is August.

KKH Review
As usual KKH time management is still very bad. Ever since our 1st time there for our appointment, we are never served on time. Then what's the use of fixing an appointment time? While waiting for our turn to be served, we make use of the time to write a feedback to their management. Hopefully they can do something about it.
At last after waiting for 2 hours, our name is finally called. Dear's report for abnormality came out to be negative! Phew! But one of his hormone which is prolactin is super high. According to doctor, this is due to his brain function which affects his reproductive system. He is referred to TTSH for MRI scan.
The doctor initially intends to prescribe him with hormone pills and he got to take for at least 1 year while we try to conceive naturally. But we told him, we gave up the idea and has set our mind for IVF.
We have been referred to do an IVF briefing, after we proceed to KKIVF counter than we know that before the briefing can be done. We got to be access by a specialist to see how we can proceed with the treatment. And so our next appointment is on the 23 Jun 11 Thursday.
