Our trip this year...to Bangkok

Oh yeah! We are going for a short trip to Bangkok soon. This trip could be my only trip this year as I am going to get very busy with my work and family planning. And this is suppose to help me relax and enjoy before my suffering comes.

This trip is going to be interesting, because we are going with two other couples who is Kate and Aim with their hubbies. This is our first time going on a trip with friends and collegues and they are locals from Thai so they could be a good tour guides for us... We are going to shop and eat till drop!

The next mission I'm going there is to visit the Erawan Shrine. I have heard how great the god is and how he helped so many people round the world. I intend to ask for his blessing for my family plan and career this year. Hope he can give me his blessing and fulfill my wishes.

I have read what is the correct procedure to pray to him, and here it is below:

first of all , you just arrive infront gate of four faces god
and walk in , turn to your right hand side go straight flower shop
buy for one set of 4 pieces of little flower garlands, one candle and one plastic bag of 12隻香
after that tear out plastic bag and lighten up 12隻香 at lightened stall
and then go to the first face that is facing main gate
to kneel down and begining 祈禱 (平安)---身體健康
after that put 3sticks of 香 infront of first face (left hand side floor stand)
after that put one flower garland infront of first face
and then go to second face that is from left to right clockwise
to kneel down and begining 祈禱 (事業)--生意 學業
after that put 3sticks of 香 infront of second face (left hand side floor stand)
after that put one flower garland infront of second face
and then go to third face (感情) ----愛情 ,家庭
and then go to fouth face (財富) ---錢財, 黃金, 股票

for one candle , if you want to have 錢財
before worship the fourth face , go to lightend stall to lightening your candle
and put infront (left hand side floor of candle stand) and then
to kneel down and beginning 祈禱 infront of fourth face (財富) ---錢財, 黃金, 股票
after that put 3sticks of 香 infront of fourth face (left hand side floor stand)
and last flower garland in front of fourth face

that is finished

before you leave , go to first face side again 合掌 拜三下 and then leave

There is other people who post this after the procedure:

Do NOT get scammed by flower/joss stick sellers outside the premises. They are pushy and try to sell you in a big package at 2k baht.

The same stuff can be bought inside at 60 or 80 baht or even less if you look like a local.

Wear long pants and short sleeve shirt or t shirt at least.

Don’t be like some singaporeans i saw, wearing shorts and singlet jerseys.

Pray with your heart.

This is really a good reference for me as I am totally lost on how to pray to him. My 1st time visit to him and it could be only once every other year, so I must do it correctly this time I go so I could receive his blessing! =D

Ultrasound Sonohysterography

As usual, KKH is famous for the long waiting time despite the scheduled appointment time. I was told to changed to the robe for the procedure and waited for the doctor to come. I was told that the doctor was having a meeting and will be late. Well, luckily I took the whole day off from work otherwise I will be waiting impatiently there. Doctor came and explained to me about the procedure and it sounds a bit scary though.

"What is Sonohysterography (Ultrasound of the Uterus)?

Ultrasound imaging, also called ultrasound scanning or sonography, involves exposing part of the body to high-frequency sound waves to produce pictures of the inside of the body. Ultrasound examinations do not use ionizing radiation (as used in x-rays). Because ultrasound images are captured in real-time, they can show the structure and movement of the body's internal organs, as well as blood flowing through blood vessels

How is the procedure performed?

Transvaginal Tranducer (Probe)

A baseline transvaginal ultrasound procedure is usually performed first to view the endometrium, or the lining of the uterus, including its thickness and any associated ovarian abnormality.

Transvaginal ultrasound is performed very much like a gynecologic exam and involves the insertion of the transducer into the vagina after the patient empties her bladder. The tip of the transducer is smaller than the standard speculum used when performing a Pap test. A protective cover is placed over the transducer, lubricated with a small amount of gel, and then inserted into the vagina. Only two to three inches of the transducer end are inserted into the vagina. The images are obtained from different orientations to get the best views of the uterus and ovaries. Transvaginal ultrasound is usually performed with the patient lying on her back, possibly with her feet in stirrups similar to a gynecologic exam. ."

I was told by the doctor that I will experience some cramping and spotting after the scan for about 2 days. But everything seems normal after the procedure and nothing happens to me.

During the scan, I heard the doctor says my tubes look normal, but all the nurses and the doctor look so serious while doing the scan especially when they are trying to capture the pictures of my womb. Hope that doesn't determine the no. of problems found in my womb. =x
