20 weeks detailed scan

Today,  we are handled by another sonographer, Alice Oh whom we felt much more comfortable with. 1st, she isn't one of the PRC and she looks singaporean and motherly. 2ndly, the way she speaks is also much more polite compared to the previous one.

Baby was awake when she did the scan, everything seems ok till the part when she needs to check his heart and baby tends to move a lot. She is much more patient and just laugh it off by saying BB is so active now and she would need to scan this area at a later part. Luckily she managed to do it after she has completed the scan for other part of his body. At the end of the scan, BB suddenly put his thumb into his mouth and she managed to capture this moment on the scan for us. SO adorable! All the while, I thought I would only see it online but not for my own but now I witness my BB acting so adorably inside my womb. =)

At the end of the session, she passed us the scan pictures. The scans she captured for us are unique and different and it will be part of our precious memories during my pregnancy.

After the whole session, she has left a deep impression on us. Dear wrote a compliment letter for her and at the same time to feedback about the PRC lady who has served us twice and has left us a deep impression but its a negative one. Well, hope this would serve as an improvement for the department.

My Baby First Move

Have deep cravings for Thai Express today, but dear don't seem to agree with my appetite. I'm actually craving for their chilli crab, and he is so superstitious to say that if I eat that..BB might become handful...well =/

Luckily, BB gave me idea what to eat for dinner, which is the steam fish head from chinatown market.  While I was enjoying my dinner, suddenly I felt a mild punch from inside my stomach. I was stunned for awhile, and realised it was my BB kick! I'm now into 18 weeks, and I remembered Dr Lau mentioned to me that my baby first kick should start from 20 to 28 weeks, so it's about there. And not long after, I felt another mild punch again. So I guess BB must be enjoying the fish that he gave me a KICK!
