With more than 6 months of TCM treatment, and its time to justify if it did help to improve our health esp for Dear.
Today we went for our review on Dear's sperm analysis. The result was a bit of shock to me, as there is not much difference from the past 6 mths. I was expecting his result to improve but...it was dissapointing! =(
In my mind it was totally blank for a few mins, and I am thinking it was the end for us. But the doctor suggest us to reconsider IVF as this is the only option for us. But before we can go ahead with the plan, it is better for dear to go for a hormone test and chromosome test to see if his sperm quality is defect which could result in abnormality. This is serious if we still want to conceive.
So we decide to go ahead with the tests. Praying hard to GOD that he will give us his blessing, and we will give our last option a try.
Looking at the result, we are certain that we should end our treatment with the TCM.

Hi, Girl, sorry to see your blog about this post... Actually my dear also has this problem and see the dr tan also...May I know what's ur dear problem? the count? or the mort? or others? I am very sad to see this result after 6 month TCM...
Hi, my dear's sperm density and form is way below average. Mortility is also slightly lower. I was very surprise that his result didn't even improve after 6 months of TCM treatment. Really at a lost now. Guess really no choice but to try IVF. I'm still thinking if I should try another TCM, or go straight to IVF. So how long you with Dr Tan?

We have went to see him for more than 1 month... and didn't go to SA yet.. What's ur dear sperm density? is possible to try IUI first? IVF is very harmful to girl's body..scared.
It will take a few months to see result, maybe you can try for 6 months before doing another SA. His latest result shows *5.5, which is consider way below avg.
Doc says for our case, going thru IUI is not possible, got to try IVF. I know its very paiful to go thru this process that is why I am so reluctant to do it unless really no choice.
But recently doc call, and ask him to go back for another blood test for his hormone and chromosome test cos his result is not very normal. Haiz...guess our BB dream is going to be very far away from us.
Hi, Dear, sorry to hear that... Actually, the hormone test of my hubby's also show 1 item abnormal (FSH, i think)... You may ask your hubby to double-confirm it.. we go to raffles hospital to re-check, the value reduce a little bit.. but still consider higher than normal range.. but I don't think that it will impact the IUI/IVF..One of my friends also have this problem, her doctor told her that can use multiple times of her hubby sperm to increase the sperm count and do the IUI for one time.. Save and froze the sperm for about 1 month, and do the IUI on your O day... is consider logistic? I hope that it can help us to make our baby plan become true.. Bless.. Hi, thanks for your encouragement. Thats why the nurse called, ask to do another test again to reconfirm. Though I'm not really sure which are the one which is abnormal. But really hope it is not anything serious. I'm not too sure why the doctor suggested us to do IVF instead of trying IUI. But i believe there must be some valid reason from his report.
So girl, are you going for IUI after this TCM treatment?
Hi, Dear, I went to Hormone test today and follow the HSG check next week.. For my side, I want to make sure that there is nothing wrong with myself..If get blocked HSG, will go to IVF, I think... Don't want to take so long time on TCM which don't know how result is.. Yes, I saw 1 thread about use frozen sperm(multiple times) to increase the sperm density on forum.. Hope it can work.. Actually, you can ask another dr for second opinion(after all, the IVF is really harmful on girl's body).. One of my colleague went to see dr chris(a very famous dr in IVF), she told me that normally, dr will try at least 3 times of IUI, if all failed, will convert to IVF... Based on your hubby SA, it may consider this plan... IUI only cost ard 400 per time.. it is much cheaper than IVF..
I went to Dr Chris before, worst. From his report he says I have PCOS and Endometriosis. Thats is why i go KKH for 2nd opinion, and mine result seems to be okie. I have read thru IUI process, if my hubby sperm is not healthy the chances of IUI is not high. That is why IVF/ISCI is still the best option for us. I don't wanna waste time on unnecessary process also.
While waiting for our next review, I am preparing for our IVF. If we can go ahead with this plan, I am trying to detox and norish my body 1st.
