I had a good night sleep yesterday and it lasted me till this morning without waking up for toliet break. At 8am, my alarm rang as it is time for me to insert the utrogestan vaginally. Today my temperature went up to 36.68 again...really strange, up and down.
I have read that it should be almost time for HCG to show sign on pregnancy strip, 11 dpt should be more obvious. I am curious to know, so I decided to pick one of my pregnancy strip and give it a try. No harm, cos I have lots of the strip which will be wasted if I don't use them. Anyway, I am ready to accept if its negative.
My urine this time was concentrated, good time to test. I immerse the strip in the urine and let it be. The instruction shows to pull out the strip after 5 seconds, but I'm thinking that HCG might not be strong now so I decided to immerse inside the bottle of urine long enough to detect any HCG.
After about 5 minutes, I checked on the strip and found a very faint positive line. I was a bit shocked but still I don't want to believe it is going to be real positive. The line shows up could be due to the immerse of the strip in the urine for too long. So I decided to try on a second strip and this strip might not be as sensitive as the first because the expiry date is closer and the instruction says to immerse for 10 seconds before leaving it on the table for the positive line to appear if there's any in 5 mins.
I went back to check after 5 minutes and it has a very very faint line but not as clear as the first. So I don't know if there is still chance for my HCG to be higher in the next few days. I have read online that there could be chances of chemical pregnancy which gives a false positive on the strip. So i'm not sure if any positive shown is real, that is why I am not as excited yet. Maybe I shall test again on wednesday and see if the line gets stronger but I don't want to pin so much hope yet.
