Lactose Intolerance with formula milk

Christine has passed back some leftover Mamil Mama old formula to the company which she has collected previously for distribution to her clients. Since it can't be used anymore, so I asked her to pass me those sample sachets for my own consumption.

This morning, I'm excited to try out one sachet of the Mamil Mama...for the next 4 to 5 hours nothing happen except for a smooth bowel movement. After not long, I felt a gush of gas churning  in my stomach and resulted in some cramps in my tummy. Went to the toliet and passed out water like diarrhoea and some of the waste material which I have eaten the previous night. I was so worried, and start to panic. Not long after felt another urge to pass motion and this time its water and waste material again which is the vegetables rejected by the body. Felt so uncomfortable with the churning and cramps.

When I was in the training, I couldn't concentrate and keep searching for an answer to my problem now. I couldn't ease my mind still, and decides to call KKIVF and asked the nurse. She said as long as I do not pass watery stools for more than 8 times, it is fine. The interval time should be 1 min to be considered severe diarrhoea and I got to go 24hrs women clinic for a check. My concern is if it will affect my fetus if I am having diarrhoea and her answer is no.  The concern is dehydration from diarrhoea which is harmful for the fetus. After hearing what she says, I felt much better. But the gasses in my tummy is feeling so uncomfortable till after I had some hot fish soup noodle during lunch. So I keep myself  hydrated with water to make sure my baby is not dehydrated.

I would never want to try any formula milk anymore, since this encounter. I didn't know I have lactose intolerance if I didn't try taking formula milk today. Though the nurse and some research from internet has proven that there is no harm to the fetus during diarrhoea but still I can't rest my mind until my 1st ultrasound scan on 25th July to prove that my baby is safe and developing.

According to some IVF pregnancy calculator from internet, I'm considered 6 weeks pregnant but still I have not experience much symptom. I knew if the progesterone hormone is high, I should expect classic pregnancy symptom like vomitting but still I don't feel anything. Wonder if  my hormone is picking up fast? How I hope time flies and I got to go for my 1st ultrasound soon. :(
